Context |
All deep dyslexic reading is assumed to rely exclusively upon the semantically mediated route, although this may not be working perfectly efficiently, in two major ways. First, the process by which semantic representations activate entries in the phonological output lexicon is prone to error, which leads to the production of semantic errors. However, it is unclear whether this reflects normal instability, or is pathological.
