| A cement job in a well in which cement slurry is pumped under pressure down a well and through perforations in the casing into a specific place in the well behind the casing. Squeeze cementing is used to isolate producing formations, to seal off water zones, to repair leaks, to fill channels, to temporarily seal off producing zones, and to abandon zones that are not producing. |

| Normally on a surface squeeze 150 to200 sacks of cement are needed. Some consultants prefer 200 sacks on the first squeeze, depending on how fast the formation takes the pressure. |
