Context A similar hemisphere-activation account can be applied to the patient described by Kashiwagi and his associates (Kashiwagi, et al., 1990). Y.Y., a right-handed government official, suffered multiple lesions as a result of a cerebral thrombosis. M.R.I, scans showed lesions in the posterior half of the genu and the whole trunk of the corpus callosum, the postero-superior portion of the left medial frontal lobe and the left medial temporo-occipital lobes. Y.Y. showed left-side neglect on visuo- spatial tasks such as copying and line bisection tasks.
