Definition |
an association formed to agree standards of practice for the managers of unit-trusts and OEICS in order to protect unit-holders. The aim of AUTIF is also to act as the representative body of managers of authorised unit trusts and investment funds (OEICs) in dealing with the government and other authorities. Furthermore, it coordinates control of commissions and charges and has a register of approved agents for selling unit trusts and OEICs as intermediaries.
