Definition Theraband is an effective, low-cost fitness product designed for rehab and strength training. User progress is easily seen as progression through multiple band resistance colors. The creation of positive and negative muscle force during use also provides for coordinated muscle development. Latex-Free Exercise Bands are used by individuals with known or suspected allergic responses to latex containing products.

Context As the athlete´s pain and tenderness over the ligaments decrease, inversion/eversion exercises can be added to the athlete´s rehabilitation. These may include the use of an elastic band (Theraband, North Coast MedicaI, San Jose, CA) to help in the improvement of ankle range of motion and allow the muscles of the lower leg to begin to re-educate themselves.
