| The hydrocollator pack is a canvas bag containing a silicone gel paste which absorbs an amount of water equal to ten times its weight. These are placed in water at 180[d]F and following absorption they can be used for 20 minutes. Special heating baths are also available.They provide up to 30 minutes of deep, moist heat. Easy-to-use, immerse in Hydrocollator Heating Unit, then remove and wrap in terry cover and toweling and apply to treatment area. Reusable and Microwavable. |

| Moist heat (a hydrocollator) works well for muscular spasm or tightness. Warm whirlpools and paraffin baths are excellent for joint stiffness and serve to increase mobility. |
