Context As the athlete´s pain and tenderness over the ligaments decrease, inversion/eversion exercises can be added to the athlete´s rehabilitation. These may include the use of an elastic band (Theraband, North Coast MedicaI, San Jose, CA) to help in the improvement of ankle range of motion and allow the muscles of the lower leg to begin to re-educate themselves.
