The current ECURIE system is a Telex-based communication network between the EC and the Member States, through which radiological information can be exchanged. At present, all ECURIE Telex messages pass through the Commission’s Telex Centre in Brussels. To receive priority treatment the messages are headed by a IATA Telex code, which allows for automatic recognition of ECURIE messages.
