| Start with your outdrive trimmed in and your trim tabs down. As you apply thrust, the boat should pop onto a place quickly. As soon as you are planing, trim out your outdrive and raise the tabs as you increase your speed. This will reduce the wetted surface as well as give you better steerage at higher speeds. |
