| A jacket-style sweater. The classic cardigan is made of Shetland-type yarns with crew neck, ribbed cuffs and hem, closed with buttons. Named after the 7th Earl of Cardigan who needed an extra layer of warmth under his uniform in the Crimean War in 1854. |
