Upper preparation: all uppers (either sewn inside or outside ) are 100% inspected in this department. AREA: 28,000 sq. feet 35 workers Last preparation.This is where we collect all shoe components, which are then distributed to each single production on line. AREA: 27,000 sq. feet 18 workers. The Lasting phase represents the heart of the factory where all shoes are assembled. We have 17 production lines, each equipped with he following machines: tack lasting machine, automatic side heel lasting, oven, roughing machine, cementing machine, sole cementing machine. Average daily production adds up to 45,000 pairs. AREA: 100,000 sq. feet. 660 workers. This department is in constant need of investment to buy sophisticated and advanced machines: recently we bought computerized roughing and cementing machines. The person in charge of each line, fills in a quality control report.
